Ever since I started my Official Office Attire job last November, I've wanted to take two pics each day - A work look and an evening look. But even though I almost always change clothes when I return from a long day in my cubical, I haven't gotten up the gumption.
Either my work outfit was too normal or my evening outfit was unworthy or I forgot to take a work picture before I changed into casual clothes. The excuses could go on forever.
But here, for the first time, is a work-to-play transition. Ta da!

For the office: pointy shoes and a new vintage orange jacket. (Still the orange! I'm obsessed!)
jacket - vintage from Einstein's Closet in Kent, Ohio
dress - Free People
shoes - The brand escapes me but I got them at TJ Maxx
After work, a frayed ephemeral mini dress and flats.
And kitty kisses!
dress - Rag-O-Rama
jeans - Forever 21
flats - I think they're a gift from my mom. Or they're from Old Navy.

Wow, I love both the looks. It's great way to restyle such a unique piece.
Great presentation of yet more lovely outfits. Love the work/after-work concept!
Inspired by you and a few other fashionistas I admire, I experimented with a simple what-I-am-wearing-today kind of post, but I think I'll stick with my journalistic approach.
Keep up the great posts! And, btw, I was thrilled to hear the news about your kitty's good health. Huzzah!
Rosie - Many thanks!
Frederik - I loved your What I'm Wearing post! Your thoughts on certain pieces are always welcome but I love seeing everything put together.
You're very kind.
And, you're right. Ensemble-oriented pieces are a necessary (and fun) part of the discussion. It's all about experimenting, right?
