Affirmation and Amicability

Often, I feel like a fashion impostor because my sartorial choices are more anarchic than on-trend. So imagine the ego-inflating affirmation when I was invited to a Cincinnati style bloggers holiday party!

Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus!

I don't know who these girls are! Ack!

My assignment was to document the fantastic hair and makeup that was downright prevalent at the soiree. I mean, look at these ladies!

And then I started talking to Megan and was so enthralled by the mechanics of theatrical puking that I quit documenting awesome 'dos. Seriously, she helped rig up a fake vomit machine! So fascinating!

And, just because the amazing Kasmira requested it, here is a video I helped some friends make. I actually won an acting award for this. In the words of my sister: "No fucking way."

Oh my wonderful friend/co-worker! I still laugh at that video. I'm totally waiting for an Oscar nom!

Kasmira - Likewise! Thanks for helping me break the ice!

Anne - Hahah! I'd love to put ol' Oscar on my desk next to the "You had me at the proper use of 'your'" postcard you gave me!
