I met Josh Flowers and Fred Daniell, excited and ready.
The camera was prepped by Josh Flowers with care
In hopes that some interviews would be taped there.
Fred and Josh
The children were wandering to the Holiday Depot
To speak to St. Nick and see the model train show.
And Fred manning camera and Josh with the mic
Had just framed the shot to get Santa's best side.
ladies rocking aprons
When out from the Legos there appeared two infants
With whom I discussed their Christmas presents.
Away from the trains, Josh spoke to two brothers,
A feisty young girl, and several others.
Babies in glasses! Holy moly. Do you guys hear something ticking? Maybe like a biological clock?
Those kids - how they giggled! Their dimples - how merry!
Their interviews were fun, despite our seeming scary.
A handshake from me and a high-five from Fred
Soon gave them to know they had nothing to dread.
Me, Fred, Josh Flowers
Josh spoke to young men on the habits of elves.
Parents laughed when they heard it, in spite of themselves!
We met so many families and had so much fun,
We can't wait to share the video, once it is done.
Check out that respectful hover-hand. He is the consummate gentleman, that Santa Claus.
When we wrapped for the day, we thanked Santa Claus
And the Levee's Christy, who fielded our calls.
And to Pawsat Pro Photo, and each kid cute and bright,
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!
