Here's to the badgers.

I used to love the fact that everyone I work with knows about my blog. I discovered, however, that when everyone you know knows about your blog, they also know when you don't update your blog. And they badger you.

In other work-realted news, I'm not allowed to wear jeans in the office ever. So I adorn myself in denim whenever I get the chance.

Ha but wait, it's even worse when your boyfriend is also a blogger.

We're the best procrastinators when were each others excuses.

I seem to be commenting an awful lot these days. But let's be honest, those maybe-Klein wedges demand comment...I quite like their urban classic look with attention to structure. They remind me of one of my favourite shoe design labels, United Nude. Have you heard of them? One of the designers is the nephew of architect Rem Koolhaas, which explains why UN shoes are so beautifully architectural. In any case, the hollowed out heel on your wedges along with the robust upper straps remind me of UN. They're interesting and eye-catching without being flashy. IMHO. And yes, as a guy who knows a thing or two about shoes I am rather bitter that ladies get just about all the fun when it comes to footwear design. :)

Of course, your ensembles are lovely as always.

Ooooh I love these two outfits...simple but individual and chic...the CK shoes are sweeet by they way :)

DaShannon - Thanks!

Paige - Hah, I never thought of that! What a modern couple! heheh...

Frederick - Keep commenting! I couldn't believe when my friend gave me those cut-out wedges. I believe her exact quote was, "I had to get them because they're goregous and on sale but then I got them home and realized, 'Hey. I don't wear heels!'"

I will totally check out United Nude - Thanks for the tip!

And as a lady whose boyfriend also has a similar lament - "Girls get all the good clothes" - I say, wear what you want! Demand stillettos in size 13!

Side Street - Many many thanks!

Well, I don't know about stilettos in size 13. But I like your damn-the-torpedoes attitude. :) Since your boyfriend shares my lament, he might appreciate the footwear from this father-son team. Custom-fit, affordable, classic, durable, and a refreshing change of pace from the endless parade of predictably pedestrian flip-flops. One of the few things that can make me stop whining about men's fashion.

I'd love to hear what you think about United Nude. A co-worker had her eye on a super-cute (and accessible, price-wise) flat called "Coral". Alas, her shoe addiction has been frustrated by their lack of stock.

I love the heels at United Nude. Love them. But I have to say that the Coral flat is not for me. At all. I can't explain why so I won't. Hah!

And I did not show the Kiwi Sandals to my boyfriend because his birthday is coming up and he might be getting something to replace his damn Tevas.
